Dear Friend:

You are invited to attend the Beijing “Water & Future” Conference.

In collaboration between Pepperdine University in the United States, China Association for Non-Governmental Organization Cooperation (CANGO) and Beijing Water Conservation Fund, Beijing “Water & Future” Conference is to convene from March 29 to 31, 2010 in Beijing. This is the third session of the forum that started in March 2008.

The topic for this Forum is “Water: Building Our Capabilities”. Its purpose is to strengthen the capacity and capability of the trans-organizational water network.

The invited participants include members from related government departments, enterprises, universities, media and communities. “Involving all people open to all voices, plus instead of minus and focus on future possibilities” are guiding convening principles. Participants will take part in the topic as equals. Through conversations, we exchange dissents, share information; debate on ideas and in collaboration, come up with doable action plans that will lead to a desired future. In fact, we are experiencing together to generate a model of conversation that allows all the participants to be the protagonists, a work model to develop a society of harmony.

To participate in the conference, please consider giving three of your valuable days, where you share your opinion and information and work with other people. In return, you may obtain a new outlook, new relationships, new competence (new way of conversation) and reflection of new values.
