Who Are We?
From
all walks of life, we are a group of people concerned about the future
of water in Beijing. We aspire to improve water conditions and restore
the balance between man and nature. We have a will and ambition that
aims at an alternative future, and are determined to contribute to the
process.
We are not a criticizer, not a discloser, not an
extremist defender. We are the creator of a platform where experts
interact with civilians and administrators with the public. We open up
a space where people of difference share information, discuss opinions,
probe for possibilities and make commitments.
Our focus is not
the problems of the past but the possibilities of the future. We are
not advocating what other people should do. We are discovering what we
can do. We are trying to help people understand the situation,
understand the government and give them an opportunity to participate
in building the future.
